I lead AI Solutions at InterWorks, a global data and tech consultancy. My work spans engineering and business strategy: building agentic systems for enterprise clients, running our AI Center of Excellence, and serving as the first voice many clients hear as they chart their path with AI. I share that work through writing, blogs, and video — most notably two whitepapers: A Practitioner’s Field Guide to Effective AI Agents and the widely cited Designing Efficient Workbooks for Tableau.

I’ve been early before. I helped launch one of the first Tableau consulting practices in 2009 at the dawn of self-service analytics and grew Curator from an on-prem product into a global SaaS business at triple the revenue. And it isn’t just client work: for years, InterWorks has trusted me to find and land the tools a global consultancy runs on every day, from Slack over a decade ago to most recently bringing Claude to the whole company.

I believe you bring people along through understanding, not mandate. Two decades in the enterprise consulting trenches — sales, scoping, delivery, leadership — has reinforced that relationships develop as you deliver small proofs consistently, and work to educate and build consensus. Solving tech problems is rarely about the tech or the current trend. People remain central. That’s why whether agent, product, practice, or org structure, the goal is to clear away the noise and monotony so expertise and creativity have room to flourish.

Lead InterWorks’ AI business across engineering and strategy: agentic systems and AI project delivery for enterprise clients, the AI Center of Excellence (which I led before the role existed), and InterWorks’ public voice on AI. Much of this work is public in the InterWorks AI Use Case Library. Continue P&L ownership of Curator.
